The Rhetoric Of Innocence In Medieval and Early Modern Literature
In Songs of Innocence and Experience, William Blake displays parallel stories through the dichotomy of innocence and experience. Similarly, this panel invites proposals that analyze the rhetoric of authors and characters in displays of innocence in medieval and early modern literature. Papers of particular interest might demonstrate the difference between the rhetoric of innocent and experienced characters.
