This special issue of Africa: History and Culture seeks papers that address the impact of COVID-19 on Africa.

Note that papers submitted for this Special Issue will have submission fees waived.

Our fundamental mission is to encourage the sharing of research findings that relate to the African continent. We welcome multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary studies that examine the role of COVID-19 on Africa`s history, agriculture, arts, development, social sciences, health sciences, education, law, humanities, applied sciences, pure science, engineering, technology and other related disciplines.

Submissions may include results of empirical studies, case studies, short reports, commentaries, correspondence, meta-analysis, and reviews. 

Please note: in line with the aims and objectives of the journal all papers should explicitly take an African perspective and will be accepted on rolling basis.
