SAMLA 91 (November 2019)
LANGUAGES: POWER, IDENTITY, RELATIONSHIPS

How do successful Caribbean writers manipulate language as a means of transforming the dissemination of history in their literary works? What power moves do they make in their use of language? This Round Table panel calls for a robust discussion of prose, poetry, and narrative works written especially by contemporary transnational Caribbean authors. A consideration of literary works by authors from the Spanish, French, and English speaking communities are welcome!
