Distance Learning Courses Design and Delivery: The Instructor Perspective (Call for Book Chapters)

Organization: Frontiers Research Topics

Categories: Pedagogy, Science
Event Date: 2020-07-01 Abstract Due: 2019-11-29

Interest in use of the internet and distance learning in higher
education continues to grow. Web-based courses require different
teaching and learning models, and new design principles as compared to face-to-face courses. While there is much research on online education, most focuses on students. Studies that investigate
instructors' experience in online learning environments are more
limited.

The current Research Topic aims to examine distance learning course design and delivery from the Instructors' point of view.
