Digital Humanities is an emerging field of study that makes an interface between the application of the digital tools and methods to the study of humanities. It’s an interdisciplinary field which utilizes the computational methods and techniques to make significant interventions in the study and research in humanities and social sciences.  In recent years, this interdisciplinary study has made remarkable changes in the tradition modes of research, and pedagogy and this has facilitated a kind of inquiry that has never been undertaken in the field of humanities. In the Indian context, several strands of digital humanities have come to the forefront in the past few years, which has been essential in understanding changes in culture, textually, reading and writing practices with a digital turn. The implications of these changes for research and practice in humanities are many, and are chiefly seen in the growth of new forms and methods of enquiry. The following areas can be explored while writing your paper

·         Epistemological and historical aspects of the Digital Humanities

·         Theoretical and methodological application of ideas based on the Digital Humanities

·         Impact of the Digital Humanities on pedagogy, academics and curriculum

·         Concerns relating to the study of literature in a digital age in India

·         Postcolonialities and Marginalities in the Digital Humanities

·         Any other theme or idea pertaining to the Digital Humanities

     Original, innovative, and unpublished research papers relating to different aspects of Digital humanities including the theoretical study, textual approaches or pedagogical orientation are invited from interested faculty members, and scholars to be submitted in MS-Word and PDF version. Papers should not exceed 7,000 words (including all) and should be preceded by an abstract of 200 words. The title, name(s), and full mailing address of author(s), including email, should appear on the first page of the manuscript. The manuscripts should be in conformity with the MLA Style (8th edition) Manual. Do not use Foot Notes. Instead use End Notes. The book will be published under the MHRD SPARC Sponsored Collaborative Research Project.
