Organization: Sustainability journal (Q2, IF: 2.592)
Categories: Miscellaneous
Event Date: 2021-08-31 Abstract Due: 2021-08-31

Dear Colleagues,

Felicitous decision-making models in uncertain business environments can help businesses to gain competitive advantage by making informed decisions. The trending topic of Circular Economy (CE) is attracting attention of practitioners and scholars. However, research on CE should take a comprehensive view on environmental, economic, and social aspects of sustainability.

Neutrosophic modeling based on Neutrosophic Set Theory (NST) can equip managers and decision makers with a valuable decision-making tool to facilitate the successful implementation of sustainable development programs and triple bottom line (3BL) model of sustainability. In this special issue, you are encouraged to submit your original research, and critical literature reviews related to the following main topics (not limited to):

  • Social sustainability assessment in CE by neutrosophic modeling
  • Economic sustainability assessment in CE by neutrosophic modeling
  • Environmental sustainability assessment in CE by neutrosophic modeling
  • Developments in neutrosophic decision-making methods with applications in CE
  • Evaluation of enablers, barriers, or motivations for implementation of sustainable development programs using neutrosophic modeling
  • Neutrosophic Multiple Criteria Decision Making (N-MCDM) in CE
  • Industry 4.0 related research in CE using neutrosophic modeling
  • Big data and Large-Scale Group Decision Making (LSGDM) in CE under neutrosophic decision-making environment
