Dear Colleagues,

We have the pleasure to invite you again to submit articles for our journal, HyperCultura  - online-only, E-ISSN: 2559-2025, indexed CEEOL, Ulrichsweb, MLA Directory of Periodicals (+ MLA International Bibliography), DOAJ, ERIH PLUS - for issue no 9/2020. We encourage, though not imposing, a comparative approach on the following areas: literature (print and hypertext), (not classic literature), media studies, film studies, visual and performative arts, teaching (language, literature, rhetoric). Subjects such as Postcolonialism, Gender Studies, etc, are welcome if they have the above mentioned areas as their case studies.

We only receive original articles, not already published, not under simultaneous review at any other publication.

We also receive a limited number of book reviews, of titles published no earlier than three years prior to the year of the publication of this volume.

Both the articles and the book reviews must be in English (USA). Articles must be analytic, they must be between 3500-8000 words, and follow the MLA 8th Edition. Book reviews must be ~1500 words. Abstracts must be 150-200 words.

You may send an abstract before sending the whole paper, if you need a first approval for your subject, but this is optional.

Papers will be first scanned for plagiarism, then sent to double-blind peer-review. We hope to give you an acceptance/rejection answer in a maximum of 3 months since the day we receive your article.

Submission deadline: October 1st, 2020.
The journal will be due March-April 2021.

Please visit our Guidelines for Authors. (http://litere.hyperion.ro/hypercultura/submission-guidelines-2/)

We are also looking for reviewers for the above mentioned areas. If interested, please email us you CV (and a sample of your own writing). Please see our For reviewers section. (http://litere.hyperion.ro/hypercultura/menu_item_peer-review/)

Publication fee: no fee.

Thank you for reading this post,

Looking forward to hearing from you,
