Open Education Studies invites manuscripts for the Special Issue: "AI-enhanced Human Learning – the future of Artificial Intelligence in Education."

CORRESPONDING EDITOR: Dr. Farshad Badie, Knowledge Group 'Natural and Formal Languages', Aalborg University, Denmark

AI-enhanced learning must involve an effective and efficient interplay of education and Artificial Intelligence towards the betterment of learning processes. Correspondingly, AI-enhanced learning systems are AI systems that technically and technologically enhance the quality of learning (and teaching) that are undertaken by students (and teachers) in the modern age.

This special issue seeks research contributions as well as review articles that conceptually, theoretically and technically focus on the applications of Artificial Intelligence in the modern educational and pedagogical systems. The scope of the Special Issue includes, but is not limited to:

  • AI-enhanced teaching and learning;
  • Human-machine interaction analysis in educational/pedagogical contexts;
  • Innovative AI-enhanced learning/teaching systems;
  • Internet of Things (IoT) in AI-enhanced learning systems;
  • AI-based knowledge communities;
  • AI-based technologies/systems for education and e-learning.
