The Program Committee of EDUNINE 2022 would like to invite you to participate in this prestigious IEEE Region 9 Conference by submitting a paper or by sharing this information with other researchers to give them the opportunity to participate.

The IEEE Education Society and COPEC announce the VI IEEE World Engineering in Education EDUNINE 2022. The conference will be held as the Smart Distributed Conference from March 13-16, 2022, in IBERO-AMERICA. The theme of this edition is "Rethinking Engineering Education After COVID -19: A Path to the New Normal". Conferences on Education in Engineering, Computing and Technology are more important than ever in building bridges between communities and helping educators and policymakers find creative and innovative solutions to address teaching and learning in the current crisis and in the longer-term future.

Accepted papers will be included in the proceedings, which will be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and other publishers that have agreements with IEEE, such as Scopus, ScienceDirect and Compendex, Web of Science, Ei Engineering Village and Scitopia.org.

The EDUNINE2022 conference will be a hybrid conference, combining online and face-to-face presentations in the cities/countries of Latin America where previous editions of EDUNINE were held, and in Spain and Portugal, using currently available technological solutions. It will be a smart conference divided into several small events in each city to improve accessibility for all participants, reduce travel distances and costs, and overcome the constraints that may still exist due to COVID -19.

Interested authors are invited to submit original work in English as Full Papers (6 pages), Work-in-Progress Papers (4 pages), or Workshop Proposals (2 or 6 pages). We welcome contributions to a range of suggested topics (see Topics on our EDUNINE2022 website (https://edunine.eu/edunine2022)). We also encourage contributions that address the unprecedented disruption of all aspects of higher education by COVID -19. Authors can choose to present their papers "in person" in one of the conference cities or "online-only" via the online platform in English, Portuguese or Spanish. In-person and online paper presentations are equivalent.

More submission details, fees, and registration on the website: https://edunine.eu/edunine2022

Conference Venues: venues will be where previous editions of EDUNINE have been held (Santos (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Lima (Peru), Bogotá (Colombia), Guatemala (Guatemala)) as well as Madrid (Spain) and Guimarães (Portugal). Venues will be announced in January 2022, depending on expected in-person assistance and applicable health recommendations.

Important Deadlines (Extended):

Full, WIP, or Workshop Paper Submission: November 1st, 2021 (new deadline)

Acceptance Notification: December 3rd, 2021

Final Paper & Registration: December 27, 2021
