The Young Foundation’s Peer Research Network has announced Hive, a new participatory peer research conference, which will be delivered online over two days, 23 – 24 March 2022.

The ground-breaking conference will bring together people involved in commissioning, delivering and responding to peer research, as well as peer researchers themselves.

This is a key moment to explore current issues, shifts and opportunities in the field. The last decade has seen government, commissioners, social investors and philanthropic funders shift towards evidence-based policy and practice. But what counts as ‘evidence’ remains work in progress – and, historically, the perspectives of people who are directly affected by complex social challenges have rarely been prioritised.

At the same time, peer research, as a field of practice, remains understudied. As it rapidly evolves and expands, it’s important to ask, what does ‘good’ look like?

At Hive, we will explore all these questions and more.

Those interested in attending can now register, and the call for submissions is open for presentations, posters and other media, and roundtable ideas. Please follow the website link for more information. We particularly welcome submissions from teams led by and involving peer researchers.
