Depiction of the Holocaust has dislocated past norms in recent years, reflecting changes in how the event is perceived in the public imagination. This session welcomes papers that address any aspect of depiction of the Holocaust and its aftermath in literature, film, and media, including but not limited to trauma and memory studies, comedy, satire, pop culture, and the conference theme of “Shifting Perspectives.”
