I. Individual Abstracts
We welcome abstracts of no more than 1.500 characters that can be sent by 11 April 2024 to the academic committee through the conference website. Individual abstracts should include a bio of the presenter (a paragraph of no more than 750 characters), and a separate abstract, outlining the central theme and main argument of the presentation. Please note that bios and presenter names SHOULD NOT be included in the abstracts.
II. Panel Proposals
Panel Proposals with max. four participants can be sent by 11 April 2024 to the academic committee through the conference website. The proposal should clearly outline the title and central theme of the panel, and also indicate how the individual presentations relate to the theme of the pre-organized panel. The individual presentations of the panel must be on a related topic. The Panel Chair will provide a personal bio of no more than 750 characters, along with the names of the panelists, and the abstracts of their individual papers (1.500 characters) within the same panel proposal. Please note that bios and presenter names SHOULD NOT be included in the abstracts.
The conference will primarily be conducted in English, and scholars are highly encouraged to use this language. However, proposals for papers in French and Persian will also be taken into account.
PhD candidates in the final stages of their program and young researchers are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals.
Pre-organized panels and individual paper proposals undergo a peer-review process by a Program Committee of scholars.
All applicants will receive notifications regarding their proposal status in May of 2024. This will give the approved candidates ample time to secure funding through their respective institutions and apply for Romanian entry visas if needed.
A selection of the papers will be published in a collective volume.
IMPORTANT: Please note that participants are only allowed to present one paper during the conference. If multiple abstracts are submitted, only the first one received will be forwarded to the program committee for consideration.
