Call for Papers: The Dynamics and Implications of “C5+Power” Diplomacy (Special Issue)

The Economic Diplomacy Journal is announcing this call for a special issue on “The Dynamics and Implications of “C5+Power” Diplomacy”, themed around the relations between the 5 Central Asian States and major external partners as structured within C5+ formats.
Scholars and practitioners from international relations, political science, economics, regional and area studies, as well as other related fields, are invited to submit their paper proposals for this issue. Prospective authors are encouraged to read through the Official Call Document carefully (see the link) before submitting their abstracts by or before July 15, 2024.
Timeline:
- Authors are invited to submit an abstract of 300-500 words by July 15, 2024. The abstract should clearly outline the research question(s), methodology, and expected contributions of the paper project.
- Authors of selected paper proposals will be contacted by July 29, 2024, and invited to start working on their full draft papers.
- An online special session for the presentation of working papers will be held during the week of September 23, 2024.
- Full manuscripts must be submitted by October 7, 2024, to enter the peer review process.
- The Special Issue will be published in December 2024.
