The 2024 UKLO Conference topic is: “Multidisciplinary Approach to Sustainable Development Goals”. Authors are invited to submit papers on any subject related to and within the scope of the Conference topic. Submissions from academics, researchers, and practitioners at any stage of their career, including PhD students, will be accepted.

This international scientific conference offers the chance to mobilize the academy and experts from home and abroad around the issue of science for peace and development with a single purpose - changing the world for the better!

The conference will open for discussion on the most pressing issues of the UN Agenda 2030, focusing on a wide range of critical topics for achieving sustainable development. Participants will engage in debates encompassing all key areas of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including no poverty, zero hunger, good health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, industry, innovation, and infrastructure, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, climate action, life below water, life on land, peace, justice, and strong institutions, and partnerships for the goals.

This year, the conference will include a special thematic section on “Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion”, which contributes to the COLOURS European University Alliance, of which our university is a member. This section will highlight the importance of fostering an inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes equality across all sectors of society.

Additionally, the conference will offer numerous networking opportunities, fostering partnerships, inspiring innovative solutions, and galvanizing collective efforts toward a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
