Fyodor Dostoevsky's literary works delve deep into the human psyche, often juxtaposing the themes of love and death to highlight the complexities of human existence. His characters grapple with these existential themes, leading to a rich tapestry of philosophical inquiry and narrative depth. This session seeks to examine how Dostoevsky's portrayal of love and death reflects his broader philosophical concerns and how these themes interact within his narrative structures. Although this session primarily aims to explore the themes of love and death in the works of Fyodor Dostoevsky, papers on other Russian authors will also be considered.
