We are thrilled to announce the Data for Policy 2025 Conference – Europe Edition, to be held in The Hague, Netherlands, on 12 – 13 June, 2025, in collaboration with Leiden University. This conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and industry experts to explore the transformative power of data and AI in driving sustainability and inclusion.

Data for Policy envisions a future where data-driven technologies shape a more equitable and informed world. At the forefront of this vision is the concept of twin transitions—digital and green transformations—that form the heart of the 2025 conference theme, “Twin Transitions in Data and Policy for a Sustainable and Inclusive Future”. This theme emphasizes how data-driven strategies can address complex issues like environmental impact and social equity.

The first phase of the call for contributions is now open, warmly inviting special track proposals that align with either the main conference theme, “Twin Transitions in Data and Policy for a Sustainable and Inclusive Future,” or the broader theme of Data for Policy.

We encourage proposers to reflect on challenges and opportunities specific to their regions, while maintaining alignment with the central conference theme. The conference is an opportunity to discuss global issues, but we are open to contributions that explore regional nuances or challenges.

For detailed information about the special track submission and post-acceptance process, please visit the conference page.

Join us at Leiden University, The Hague, as we explore data’s pivotal role in advancing sustainable and inclusive futures !

We look forward to receiving your track proposals and to the insightful discussions that will shape the future of data and policy.
