The MMLA permanent section on Disability Studies invites paper proposals on the subject of “Disability Narratives and the Search for Social Justice” for the 2025 conference of the Midwest Modern Language Association to be held in Milwaukee, WI on November 14-16, 2025. How can disability narratives promote equality, protect rights, ensure justice? Papers may explore any aspect of these and related questions. This will be an in-person panel.
