Literary Intervention for Economic & Political History Review (EPHR) (Miscellaneous )
N/A
Organization: Economic and Political History Review
Event: Miscellaneous
Literary Interventions is a new section of the Economic & Political History Review dedicated to short, historically grounded essays that explore how literature engages with questions of power, economy, memory, and political struggle. We invite contributions that show how the formal features of texts, whether fiction, poetry, drama, oral narrative, or rhetorical genres, illuminate the workings of political power and historical transformation. Rather than literary appreciation or abstract theory, we seek close readings attentive to form, context, and history, treating literature as a mode of knowledge production in its own right. Submissions (800–1,200 words) are welcome from scholars and students in literature, history, cultural studies, and related fields.
