Submissions Invited for Upcoming Issues

Dear Colleagues and Researchers,

The Editorial Board of the Journal of Travel Literature Studies (JTLS) warmly invites scholars, experts, and young researchers from the global academic community to submit their original, unpublished manuscripts for our upcoming issues.

JTLS is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to bridging the fields of literary criticism, cultural geography, anthropology, and translation studies through the lens of travel. We aim to provide a vibrant, international platform for cutting-edge research on how travel shapes human text, culture, and history.

1. Scope and Core Columns

We welcome theoretical innovations, empirical analyses, text-based criticisms, and interdisciplinary approaches. Manuscripts can be submitted to any of our regular columns:

· Theoretical Studies of Travel Literature: Innovations, histories, and methodologies in travel writing theory, spatial criticism, and mobile aesthetics.

· Studies on Chinese Travel Literature: Critical analysis of classical and contemporary Chinese travelogues, geographical poetry, and diaspora narratives.

· Studies on Foreign Travel Literature: Interpretations of global travel writing, colonial/post-colonial expeditions, and Western/Eastern travel canons.

· Travel Culture and Sino-Foreign Cultural Exchanges: Investigations into how travel facilitates historical, political, and cultural dialogues between China and the world.

· Translation Studies of Travel Literature: Linguistic, cultural, and historical analyses of the translation and reception of travel texts across different languages.

· Book Reviews and Interviews: Critical evaluations of recent milestone publications in travel literature, or dialogues with prominent scholars in the field.

2. Submission Guidelines
