Call for Papers - AI Academic Research Conference Aug 3

I'm writing to share an opportunity I believe will resonate with your faculty and graduate students working on AI: the Ai4 Academic Research Conference, held Monday, August 3, 2026 at The Venetian in Las Vegas alongside the larger Ai4 Conference.

What makes this different from a typical academic conference is the audience. It places researchers directly in front of the executives, practitioners, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers attending Ai4 — people across every business function who are actively working out how AI fits their organizations, how to choose and deploy applications, and how to manage the culture change and workforce impacts that follow.

For faculty, that means presenting not only to peers, but to the organizations that may ultimately apply, fund, expand, or collaborate on future research. For many researchers, gaining access to organizations willing to participate in studies is the single hardest part of the work — this conference is built to open those doors, leading to field studies, case studies, and lasting research partnerships.

I would be grateful if you would share this with your faculty, doctoral and master's students, and research centers. A few specifics worth highlighting to them:

•       The Monday Academic Research Conference is free to attend.

•       Selected presenters receive a speaking slot plus a complimentary Speaker Pass to the full three-day Ai4 Conference, with access to thousands of AI professionals, executives, and technology leaders. (approx $3k value)

•       Faculty, researchers, and staff from nonprofit educational institutions can attend at more than 50% below standard pricing — whether or not they present.

•       Faculty are encouraged to bring graduate and undergraduate students to present (paper or poster), or simply to network for their future careers.

We are especially interested in research on: AI implementation in organizations; workforce impacts of AI; human–AI collaboration; organizational change and adoption; ethics, governance, and responsible AI; decision-making and leadership; education and workforce development; industry applications and emerging practices; and related interdisciplinary AI research. Presenters will be encouraged to briefly summarize methodology and findings while emphasizing practical implications and opportunities for collaboration.

Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis until all presentation slots are filled.

Thank you for helping connect your researchers with the organizations putting AI to work. Please feel free to forward this to anyone on your campus who would benefit.

Also anyone who wants more information can email me directly at jjolley@csumb.edu. I am happy to email or even zoom with anyone who is interested and perhaps wants more information or even help adjusting a current paper for an industry audience.

Thanks for sharing this message.
