Abstract:

This session critically examines the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), language acquisition, pedagogy, and ethical responsibility within an interdisciplinary humanities framework. We will analyze how AI technologies can facilitate language learning, with a focus on their potential to enhance learner engagement and linguistic proficiency.

Key themes include the effectiveness of AI-driven tools for language acquisition, the pedagogical approaches that support their use, and the professional development of those who integrate these innovations. We will also address challenges such as language variability, accessibility, and data bias, as well as the ethical implications of algorithmic bias in educational contexts.

Description:

Join us for a critical examination of the intersection of artificial intelligence, language acquisition, and ethical pedagogy. We invite submissions that investigate the efficacy of AI-driven tools in language learning, highlighting both their benefits and associated challenges.

Contribute to an informed dialogue on the responsible integration of AI in educational practice.
