Business and Management in Asia: Digital Transformation in NGOs and Civil Society

We invite chapter proposals for the fifth volume of the Business and Management in Asia series, to be published by Springer Nature.

The volume explores how NGOs and civil society organizations across Asia use digital technologies, data, innovative governance, and new management approaches to strengthen resilience, expand their reach, and increase their impact.

Relevant topics include digital capacity building, data-driven decision-making, platform collaboration, stakeholder engagement, governance innovation, and the ethical challenges of digital transformation.

Key dates

  • Chapter proposal due: 15 August 2026
  • Full chapter due: 15 October 2026
  • Expected publication: Q1 2027

Chapters should generally be around 4,000–6,000 words, although quality and relevance are more important than length.

Please submit a brief chapter outline and a one-page biography to Dr. Tobias Endress at tobiasendress@ait.asia.

Editors: Dr. Tobias Endress and Prof. Yuosre F. Badir, Asian Institute of Technology.
