Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming educational practice by creating new opportunities for teaching, learning, assessment, and skills development. From AI-powered tutoring systems and conversational agents to generative AI tools that support writing, language learning, and feedback, educators are increasingly exploring how AI can enhance learning experiences while maintaining sound pedagogical principles.

This seminar focuses on the practical integration of AI into educational settings, particularly in language education, academic skills development, and classroom teaching. It examines how AI can support the development of communication skills, academic writing, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and self-regulated learning. The seminar also explores the evolving role of assessment in the age of AI, considering how educators can design authentic learning experiences that encourage meaningful engagement, learner autonomy, and responsible AI use.

Contributors are invited to investigate how AI can complement established teaching methodologies, including communicative language teaching, task-based learning, project-based learning, and learner-centered pedagogies. Particular attention will be given to real-world classroom applications, student experiences, teacher practices, and evidence-based innovations that demonstrate the effective use of AI across diverse educational contexts.
