The production of audiovisual materials in the Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries of the last decades has come to occupy a significant place in international markets. The study of movies, t.v. series, documentaries, and mixed media productions at, at its turn, has also become a burgeoning academic field that has responded to this trend. This board sponsored panel invites proposals that study critically, and from different methodological perspectives, the various audiovisual productions from Spain, Portugal, and Latin America.
